Southern California -- The land of "surfer dudes" and perpetual sunshine is soon to be the home of Harrah's fourth Indian gaming property, a stunning new casino, built and managed for the Rincon San Luiseno Band of Mission Indians
The Rincon's 5,000 acre
reservation is located in northern San Diego County near Valley Center, San
Diego, La Jolla, Del Mar, Escondido and Orange County. Bordered by the foothills
and San Luis Rey River, the Reservation provides a picturesque location for a
new casino, expected to be one of the very best in the state.
The Rincon Tribe will open and operate a temporary casino on
January 11, 2001, at approximately the same time as the ground
breaking for the permanent Harrah's facility, which will open in early 2002.
Once built, Harrah's Rincon will feature a 45,000 square foot casino with
approximately 1,500 slot machines and 30 table games. The overall resort
facility will also include a Harrah's Premier 200-room resort hotel, a buffet,
three specialty restaurants, an entertainment lounge, and a multi-purpose events
center.
